Vysnova Partners, Inc. Ranks No. 1,211 on the 2018 Inc. 5000
With Three-Year Revenue Growth of 399%

NEW YORK, August 15, 2018Inc. magazine today revealed that Vysnova Partners, Inc. (Vysnova) is No. 1,211 on its 37th annual Inc. 5000, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

“It is an incredible honor to be named to the Inc. 5000 list”, said Carlos Rivera, Vysnova’s President and CEO. “Since 2012, Vysnova staff has quietly worked in more than 40 countries and has teamed with both defense and civilian agencies to carry out life science research for some of the most critical diseases affecting our world today. Our work can be exemplified by the fact that Vysnova is currently in over 20 countries on the frontlines of infectious disease research. Our projects improve health services in the US and communities worldwide. As a trusted implementing partner to many Federal Agencies, our successes are possible because of our client base and the dedicated efforts of the entire Vysnova team.”

Not only have the companies on the 2018 Inc. 5000 (which are listed online at Inc.com, with the top 500 companies featured in the September issue of Inc., available on newsstands August 15) been very competitive within their markets, but the list as a whole shows staggering growth compared with prior lists. The 2018 Inc. 5000 achieved an astounding three-year average growth of 538.2 percent, and a median rate of 171.8 percent. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue was $206.1 billion in 2017, accounting for 664,095 jobs over the past three years.

Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000.

“If your company is on the Inc. 5000, it’s unparalleled recognition of your years of hard work and sacrifice,” says Inc. editor in chief James Ledbetter. “The lines of business may come and go, or come and stay. What doesn’t change is the way entrepreneurs create and accelerate the forces that shape our lives.”

The DHS Program: Global Health Data Collection, Analysis, and Dissemination

Project Spotlight: The DHS Program

The Problem:

The recent Ebola and Zika epidemics have shown just how vital health sector data is in anticipating, monitoring, and responding to health threats. With varying levels of access to healthcare and limited health records in countries where it matters most, it is not an easy task to collect accurate health data across the world. Moreover, the health conditions of many low- and middle-income countries are evolving; and with this evolution, different data is needed across countries and regions. For example, a country in Sub-Saharan Africa is more likely to request data on maternal health and child nutrition; whereas, a country in Europe may be more interested in data on obesity or smoking habits. The challenges in the face of accurate and comprehensive health data collection, however, do not minimize its importance.

The Work:

The Demographic & Health Survey (DHS) Program has long featured the ability to respond adequately to changing data needs while ensuring data quality and accessibility. Currently finishing its seventh iteration (DHS MEASURE 7), The DHS Program is renowned for (1) providing technical assistance for quality household and facility-based data collection, analysis, dissemination, and use; (2) providing technical leadership to develop and adapt survey methodologies to meet existing and emerging data needs; and (3) actively encouraging data analysis and use through capacity strengthening activities, data visualization tool development and roll out, and online archiving of data and indicators for free public access and use. The data collected through The DHS Program provides necessary information for monitoring progress made towards achieving USAID’s three strategic global health priorities: (1) preventing child and maternal death; (2) controlling the HIV/AIDS epidemic; and (3) combatting infectious disease.

The Vysnova Impact:

Vysnova Partners provides strategic technical assistance in support of The DHS Program. As a subcontractor to ICF International, Vysnova’s diverse staff pilots new methods of collecting data to improve timeliness, reliability, and policy relevance. Our staff supports survey design, data collection, data management, data analysis, evaluation, and other survey/research tasks in support of MEASURE 7, as we did in our involvement in the previous phase (MEASURE 6) of the Program.

Each survey designed by The DHS Program is tailored to the specific health, cultural, socio-economic, and political conditions of each country. Vysnova staff works hard to provide in-country technical assistance and uphold the standards of The DHS Program in order to have the maximum impact on improving the health conditions of the host countries.
