Vysnova COO and Program Manager Present at the Foreign Service Institute

Vysnova COO Dr. John Fallon and Program Manager Nicole Heydari recently served as guest lecturers at the Foreign Service Institute’s (FSI) Commercial Tradecraft course. Dr. Fallon and Heydari presented on the role of supply chain and logistics in international projects. This facilitated session covered challenges and best practices through a case study on Vysnova’s current Zika research work for the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in Latin America.



Vysnova CEO Leads Panel at OSDBU Small Business Overseas Government Contracting Conference

Founder and CEO of Vysnova Partners, Inc. and Chairman of the Small Business Association for International Companies (SBAIC), Carlos Rivera, led a panel discussion at the Second Annual Small Business Overseas Government Contracting Conference on May 25, 2017. Rivera gave advice on his experiences and lessons learned from developing and operating successful small businesses engaged in federal contracting overseas. The conference was organized by the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU). The OSDBU works to ensure that all legislatively specified categories of small businesses in prime contracts and subcontracts are effectively utilized to the maximum extent possible. The office also champions U.S. small business interests in the department’s acquisition process and povides training and counseling aimed at increasing resources and opportunities for the small business community.
