Vysnova Partners (Vysnova) named subcontractor to CSC as part of DAU’s Learning and Technology Support Services (LTSS) and Export Controls Continuous Learning Course (CLC 048) project

Vysnova Partners Inc. (Vysnova) Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), under a subcontract with the Computer Science Corporation (CSC), works with the Defense Acquisition University (DAU)  to review the changes to the Export Control rules and clauses in the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and develop a new continuous learning modules (including scenario-based knowledge reviews and exam questions) for acquisition personnel to familiarize with the rule changes and implementation.

About the Program:

In August 2009, the President directed a broad-based interagency review of the U.S. export control system, with the goal of strengthening national security and the competitiveness of key U.S. manufacturing and technology sectors by focusing on current threats, as well as adapting to the changing economic and technological landscape. This review determined that the current export control system is overly complicated, contains too many redundancies, and, in trying to protect too much, diminishes our ability to focus our efforts on the most critical national security priorities.

DAU’s new course is designed to help acquisition personnel navigate the changes to the export control process and identify the appropriate resources for additional information.
