Vysnova wins subcontract supporting the Air Force Systems Command, Wright Patterson AFB, Dayton, Ohio

Vysnova Partners, Inc. (Vysnova), serving as a subcontractor to Beyond Optimal Strategic Solutions, LLC, was awarded a contract to support the U.S. Air Force Installation Contracting Agency (AFICA). AFICA is aiming to build organic capabilities in the area of creating, using, and implementing market intelligence in its strategic acquisitions that serve the Department.  This need spans job functions and applies to all installation contracting agencies Air Force wide.

To ensure that the Air Force meets its desire to transfer knowledge and build organic capabilities, Vysnova designed the following approach: an initial, comprehensive research effort on Market Intelligence that included commercial and private sector best practices, the current ‘as is’ state, and open source information (including interviewing key stakeholders).  This research effort informed the follow-on, two stage training curriculum that was successfully delivered both in class and via VTC. The initial training effort provided the basic strategies and concepts while the second iteration included exercises that applied the provided concepts and models.
Finally, Vysnova staff assisted AFICA in implementing and using the taught practices by mentoring, coaching, and assisting two AFICA teams tasked to create and implement Market Intelligence efforts across selected commodities.
